1) How to submit my article for publication?

If you’re using the system for the first time, follow the instructions to register. After registering your name on the Journal web site (http://www.jdmal.ir), you will receive your username and password. Then, you can submit your article using our online system.   Authors who want to submit an article to this journal, it is necessary to refer to the authors' guide section in order to receive the article writing procedure and arrange their article exactly according to the principles of the journal's intended editing. To the article Items sent outside the system will not be processed.

2) How to inform about the status of my article?

Once submitted, your paper will be considered by the editor and if it passes initial screening, it will be sent for peer review by experts in your field. If deemed unsuitable for publication in this journal, the editor may suggest you transfer your submission to a more suitable journal. It should be noted that all process including submitting, revising, correspondence, requests, changing the order of authors, etc. are possible only through the responsible author.

3) How long does it take to review article?

A question often asked by authors, but also important to editors, is how long does it take between submission and publication of an article. This is a hard question to answer, but often peer review is the lengthiest part of this process. The minimum period for evaluating and reviewing of the articles is three months.

4) Can the student publish the research paper alone?

No. The article must be submitted for evaluating and reviewing through the faculty member of at least with academic rank of assistant professor.

5) How many papers can you publish per year in this Journal?

Maximum of one article per author will be published annually in the journal.

6) Is there a charge for receiving a full article published in the journal?

All articles published in our journals are open access and freely available online, immediately upon publication using our journal’s website.

7) How much is an article publishing charge?

After the initial acceptance of the article, in the publication system, you are required to make a deposit by referring to the bank, 3500000 Rials to the account number of 2007517303 in Tejarat Bank, Yazd University Branch, 2007 Branch Code 20075, called: The Iranian Scientific Association of Desert Management and Control.

Can you Submit your article to more than one journal?

No. Article submitted to this journal should not be published in another journal or has been sent to another journal. In such cases, the authors will be notified by the editorial office and their manuscript can be considered as a violation to the competent authorities, and all costs imposed on the journal office will be collected from the authors.

9) What does the commitment form include and how should it be sent?

Sending the commitment form is required to start the initial review, and if the commitment letter is not uploaded along with the article, the submitted article will not be reviewed. 

10) Can a paper be rejected after acceptance?

Yes. After the initial acceptance of the article, the author of the article is obliged to pay the cost of publishing of the article subject to paragraph 9 of the "Article acceptance process" and also, if necessary, to revise and edit the article according to the editors of the journal. If the author, after paying the publication fee, does not act on the corrections submitted by the editors or changes the contents of his/her article after the approval of the final reviewer and initial acceptance, the editorial board will reject or publish the article in the next issue.
