To this end, trend analysis of drought was carried out using the traditional Mann-Kendall and Trend Free Pre-Whitening (TFPW) Mann-Kendall tests. Results showed that both indices report the same behaviors, but the SPEI presents higher percentages in different drought classes and a rapid responses to humidity variations at all time scales when comparing to the SPI. There were significant positive correlations between the two indices at the corresponding timescales such that the highest correlations in most of the stations with the values 0.97 and 0.98 were related to the time scales of 12 and 24 months, respectively. The same results were obtained for the frequency percentages of different classes of the mentioned drought indices. Trend of droughts in the region is generally increasing and the slope of trend for the SPEI is stronger than SPI as the time scale increases. Finally, the use of SPI is not sufficient to monitor droughts in arid and hyper-arid climates of coastal regions, and due to the role of temperature as the limited factor of humidity, the study recommend the use of SPEI for effective and accurate drought monitoring in such regions.}, keywords = {Drought index,temporal trends,precipitation and temperature,Evapotranspiration,the souther coast of Iran}, title_fa = {ارزیابی روند تغییرات خشکسالی بر اساس شاخص بارش استاندارد شده و شاخص تبخیر - تعرق استاندارد شده در سواحل جنوبی ایران}, abstract_fa = {این تحقیق با هدف مقایسه دو شاخص بارش استاندارد (SPI) و شاخص بارش- تبخیر و تعرق استاندارد (SPEI) از نظر پایش و روند خشکسالی اقلیمی در ایستگاه‌های سینوپتیک واقع در سواحل خلیج‌فارس و دریای عمان طی دوره آماری (1992 تا 2014) انجام شده است. تحلیل روند خشکسالی با استفاده از روش‌های من- کندال و من - کندال اصلاح شده با حذف اثر خودهمبستگی صورت پذیرفته است. مقایسه نتایج دو شاخص در تحلیل خشکسالی و درصد فراوانی خشکسالی در کلاس‌های مختلف در مقیاس‌های زمانی 3 تا 48 ماهه نشان داد، روند تغییرات دو شاخص مشابه اما شاخص SPEI نسبت به SPI فرکانس بالاتری از خشکسالی و پاسخ سریع‌تری به تغییرات رطوبتی نشان می‌دهد. بین تمامی مقیاس‌های زمانی محاسبه دو شاخص رابطه مثبت و معنی‌دار وجود دارد ، به طوری که بالاترین ضریب همبستگی در اکثر ایستگاه‌ها در مقیاس 12 و 24 ماهه به‌ترتیب 97/0 و 98/0 مشاهده گردید. نتایج مشابهی نیز در تحلیل درصد فراوانی در کلاس‌های مختلف بدست آمد. بررسی روند خشکسالی در منطقه مورد مطالعه حاکی از روند فزاینده خشکسالی است که با افزایش مقیاس زمانی شیب روند شاخص SPEI نسبت به SPI قویتر است. در نهایت پیشنهاد می‌گردد، در اقلیم‌های خشک و فراخشک بیابان ساحلی استفاده از SPI برای پایش خشکسالی کافی نیست و به دلیل نقش دما به عنوان عامل محدود کننده رطوبت، استفاده از شاخص SPEI برای پایش موثر و دقیق خشکسالی‌ها استفاده شود.}, keywords_fa = {شاخص خشکسالی,روند زمانی,بارش و دما,تبخیر و تعرق,سواحل جنوبی ایران}, url = {https://www.jdmal.ir/article_24662.html}, eprint = {https://www.jdmal.ir/article_24662_621b43cd8ca63bf8f7a00a03a87248f5.pdf} }
