WANG Yongdong is a doctor, Professor of Engineering, and master's supervisor and is currently the deputy director of the National Desert Oasis Ecological Construction Engineering Technology Research Centre. One belt, one road, is the research area of desertification control and ecological construction. It focuses on the application of basic theory in ecological engineering construction and sustainable development in desert areas, ecological restoration and reconstruction in the engineering disturbance area, and international cooperation on desertification control in the "one belt" road area. Wang Yongdong has presided over and participated in more than 20 national, provincial, and ministerial projects (two projects for the National Natural Science Foundation), won a second prize for scientific and technological progress of the autonomous region, two collective awards of the state and the Academy of Sciences, and published nearly 50 articles.
